USA: Disney Typhoon Lagoon Opens New Water Slide

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon waterpark, located in Florida, recently opened its new themed sliding attraction “Miss Adventure Falls”, which has been announced in summer 2016 under the previous name “Miss Fortune Falls” (c.f. EAP news from August 19^th, 2016).

The slide offers a whitewater river experience in rafts for four persons – with its duration of approx. two minutes, the attraction is one of the longest ones in the waterpark. Its theming is based on the story of “Captain Mary Oceaneer”, who collected unique artifacts during her treasure hunts on the seven seas, now being on display for the sliders. (eap)
