USA/Denmark: Walt Disney World Resort Designs Float for Tivoli's 175th Anniversary Parade

Copenhagen's popular Tivoli amusement park, which will celebrate its 175^th anniversary next year, plans a new anniversary parade entitled "The World Comes Together in Tivoli" to be premiered on May 1^st, 2018. Thanks to a longstanding and close relationship between the park and Walt Disney and nowadays the Walt Disney World Resort, Disney will design its own float for Tivoli’s anniversary parade, based on the popular Disney attraction "It's a Small World". In addition to a Disney float, the parade will be formed by 30 performance artists, popular Tivoli characters, wagons and figures, with a total length of more than one hundred metres.

Lars Liebst, CEO of Tivoli, is pleased about this special contribution, "One of Tivoli’s visions is to be a leading international experience brand. With this in mind, Tivoli’s long and amicable relationship with Disney is now expressed through a beautiful float to be part of our 175-year Jubilee Parade.
