Next year, Germany’s Europa-Park will once again host the coveted Radio Regenbogen Awards (a German media award), which will be presented on March 23rd by comedian Atze Schröder. Radio chief Klaus Schunk and Radio Regenbogen event manager Andreas Ksionsek have just announced some of the award winners: In the "Comeback of the Year 2017" category, for example, Michael Patrick Kelly of “The Kelly Family” will be honored. The list of winners also includes Wincent Weiss, Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen, Johannes Oerding, Ingo Appelt, Alma and Alle Farben. Further award winners will be presented in the spring of 2018.

One thing is certain: The award ceremony in the new Europa-Park arena (cf. EAP news from January 17th, 2017) will once again focus on the most popular songs from the radio and the international club scene as well as on superstars out of music, film and television.

Radio Regenbogen chief Klaus Schunk is pleased to have found such a valued partner in Europa-Park: "When we first presented the Radio Regenbogen Awards in Mannheim in 1998, nobody would have believed that they would become one of the most important media prizes in Germany.” Roland Mack, Owner of Europa-Park, added, "As the world's best amusement park, we are pleased to offer the glamorous setting for this top-class award ceremony at the new Europa-Park Arena.” (eap)
