Tema Design by MK Illumination Names Lasse Jørgensen Production Manager – New Production Facility Opens in the Philippines

Tema Design by MK Illumination was created to cater to the needs of the attractions industry as a joint venture founded by Danish MK Illumination ApS and The Philippines’ TEMA Design Inc. companies. In the wake of its current company growth, Tema Design by MK Illumination – provider of theming services and fiberglass decoration elements – has recently named former Tivoli Gardens’ employee Lasse Jørgensen new Production Manager of the company in Denmark. Jørgensen, who has gained a wealth of experience in the field of production at Copenhagen’s popular Tivoli park, is looking forward to his new challenge: “It is an exciting opportunity I have been giving to manage the growing number of projects that Tema Design by MK Illumination experiences. […] It is always exciting transforming a themed concept into something real, while exceeding expectations, which is something I look very much forward to,” said Jørgensen.

Furthermore, Tema Design and Tema Design by MK Illumination announced the opening of a new production facility in the Philippines, which was built on a site of more than 14,000 square meters in the Pampanga Economic Zone in Angeles City. The new venue has a capacity for up to 700 new employees, working in three different buildings divided into a production facility, a product finishing hall and a head office. “We’ve had to grow quickly in order to keep our quality, pricing and timing commitments to our clients […] Tema Design has the opportunity to expand the production area by an additional 5,000 square meters,” stated Rene Hansen, Owner of Tema Design and Tema Design by MK Illumination.
