Spain: Siam Park Open again on Weekends

Since this past Saturday, the Siam Park water world on the Canary Island of Tenerife is open again and now welcomes guests on Fridays and weekends. Up to 3,000 visitors are allowed to stay in the water park at the same time; the facility’s actual capacity is 10,500 guests. Nevertheless, the owner family Kiessling and park staff are pleased that after Loro Parque and the Poema del Mar aquarium on Gran Canary, Siam Park has been allowed to carefully reopen and welcome back residents and tourists. Besides Spanish families, holidaymakers from Great Britain and Germany are the main target group of the popular leisure destination on Tenerife and it is hoped that the current positive development of the pandemic situation in almost all European countries will also lead to a revival of tourism in the region.
