Holiday Park: Giving Disadvantaged People a Day of Real Joy!

At the opening of the 33rd “pink weeks” at Holiday Park in Hassloch/Pfalz, patron Roswitha Beck thanked Holiday Park for its many years of voluntary support. Fifteen thousand visitors from children’s homes and disabled peoples’ homes, special schools and centres for the disabled have been invited to visit Holiday Park free of charge, thanks to the dedication of Holiday Park’s employees. Says park director Wolfgang Schneider of his sense of social responsibility: “In our eyes, Holiday Park is a platform for people to meet and interact. We feel that one of the key duties of Holiday Park is to integrate everybody in our society. The aim of our >pink weeks< is to give those with special needs, and their carers, a very special day full of real joy.” (eap)
