Netherlands: RP Rides Expands Product & Service Portfolio

Established in 2014 by Romee Popelier as a design agency for ride manufacturers, the Netherlands-based company RP Rides, which today also offers an extensive product and services range for theme parks, showmen, design companies and leisure facilities, has entered into new partnerships: RP Rides is now the official sales representative of the US roller coaster manufacturer Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), which specializes in (hybrid) wooden coasters and steel roller coasters. In the Ferris wheel segment, RP Rides’ range of services grows to include Ferris wheels by Lamberink, and in the merchandise segment, products and articles by Imagic Concepts.

Among the projects RP Rides has been involved in so far in the theme park segment are the realization of the abc Rides family coaster “K2” at Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Elstal, Germany (c.f. EAP 5/2018) and the “Noisette Express” at France’s Nigloland (by Art Engineering, c.f. EAP 4/2020), which opened in 2020. (eap)
