Western City Eldorado, Templin: Successful Start

 

Since opening on the 1st of July, the new western city in Templin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern attracted 75,000 visitors right up until the end of the season. Friedhelm Schatz and René van der Putten, the managing directors of the Eldorado Abenteuer GmbH, had banked on around 60,000 guests at the time of opening. Many people visited the facility for highlights such as the Indian weekends, rodeo festivals or the biker weekend. There were also more than 4,100 overnight accommodations at the western city’s hotel, fort, ranches and tepees. Schatz expects 120-130,000 visitors next season. (eap)
