Mystery Park – Interlaken: Critical State Comes to a Head

As made public by Swiss media, the financially strained park (as we’ve reported a number of times in past issues) is now trying to avert looming bankruptcy at practically the last minute through a moratorium on debt enforcement. The district court in Interlaken is to return a verdict on the matter on the 10th of July. If the court approves of a moratorium on debt enforcement, this will pave the way for new investors, but it could mean a total loss for the 10 to 15 thousand small shareholders! Should the case be overthrown on the other hand, the park will file for bankruptcy and close, ultimately affecting the facility’s approximately 75 employees. (eap)
