Flying Saucer Plans Visitor Centre for BASF

The Berlin-based attraction designers at “flying saucer” were able to assert themselves in the competition held by the BASF AG with their vision of a new visitor centre in Ludwigshafen. Flying saucer’s newly planned and developed exhibition will sprawl over five stories with an overall surface space of 1,600 square metres, and is set to open in late 2006. Alexander Bresinsky, Managing Director of flying saucer: “With a diversified exhibition layout and the alternation between surprising exhibits and an innovative use of media, we build communicative bridges. We transcribe specialised knowledge into coherent words and images, always making references to the visitors’ everyday life.” (eap)
