Orlando/USA: New Max Action Arena to Add More Play Fun to ICON Park’s Offerings as of this Fall

This fall, a new indoor park called Max Action Arena is scheduled to open as part of Orlando’s ICON Park, expanding the offerings of the leisure complex near I-Drive. Max Action Arena will be a Family Entertainment Center (FEC) with a variety of VR, adventure and escape game play offerings. The FEC will cover an area of nearly 750 square meters (8,000 square feet) and will include, among other things, a free-roam VR facility from Zero Latency VR, several “adventure rooms” in which certain tasks and puzzles must be solved in a race against time, an axe-throwing game and an escape room.

“This isn’t your average family entertainment center. We’ve created Max Action Arena with engaging, interactive fun at the forefront,” said Ray Smith, Vice President of Business Development at Family Entertainment Group. “With its cutting-edge VR technology and collaborative experiences, Max Action Arena is the perfect place for friends and family to compete and explore together.” The new venue is owned and operated by Family Entertainment Group. The company’s portfolio also includes the In The Game arcade game zone at ICON Park and the Bonkers Family Fun Centers in the US. (eap)
