Transformers The Ride Opened at Universal Studios Singapore

The world’s first Transformers theme park attraction based on Hasbro’s popular franchise made its debut in Sci-Fi City at Universal Studios Singapore this month. The 3-D attraction is also based on film producer and executive producer Michael Bay’s action and science fiction film “Transformers”. Nearly four years were needed until completion of the attraction for which Bay also served as creative consultant. The visual effects for this attraction were chiefly created by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), a division of Lucasfilm Ltd. Another Transformers The Ride attraction will open at Universal Studios Hollywood next spring. (eap)
