Successful Annual Balance for Public Services Osnabrück

Germany’s Stadtwerke Osnabrück (Public Services Osnabrück) announced a positive annual balance for their three swimming pool facilities Schinkelbad, Moskaubad and Nettebad. 1,031,989 guests were recorded to have visited the three bathing facilities, a plus of 125,000 guests in comparison to the previous year. The Nettebad, opened in 2005, welcomed a total of 645,000 guests in the last year and attained their second-highest level since their opening. The increase of visitors of 12.6 per cent can be explained by reasons of a stronger media presence in the last year. More than 1.1 million visitors are expected to come to the Nettebad in 2012. A renovation of the so-called “Loma” sauna will be one of this year’s novelties at the leisure bath facility. (eap)
