Donetsk / Ukraine: Funtura – the New Family Entertainment Center

In December 2011, Ukraine’s largest indoor Family Entertainment Center (FEC) “Funtura” was opened at Donetsk City Mall. The new indoor facility is located on a 10,000 square meter large area and features more than 25 rides and attractions: a 1,000 square meter large ice rink, a 5Di interactive theater, a rotating drop tower, air bumper cars, video games and much more. The attraction mix was complemented by a themed family restaurant, a food court, an ice bar and a restaurant / lounge. The FEC was designed by the Belgian company KCC Entertainment Design who chose a tropical theming: Funtura is a lost paradise inhabited by animals from all over the world. (eap)
