Cologne/Germany: Harry Potter Exhibition to Come to Odysseum Science Center

Harry Potter fans can look forward to this coming October when Harry Potter will visit Cologne! In fact, “Harry Potter™: The Exhibition” will be launched at the Odysseum Science Center as of October 3, 2014. The international touring exhibition, created by Global Experience Specialists, Inc. (GES) in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, has been presented in various cities around the world since its premiere in Chicago in 2009 and will come to Germany for its second stop in Europe following a stop in Norrköping, Sweden. Featuring original costumes and props from the Harry Potter films, the exhibition will be presented by AWC Events, a newly formed travelling exhibition division of AWC-AG. Headed by CEO Andreas Waschk, the new division will concentrate its efforts and passion on touring exhibitions. The team of AWC Events has been joined by Adam Sanders as Director of Travelling Exhibitions. Sanders previously worked for the Natural History Museum in London for over 15 years in their Touring Exhibitions and Planning and Design Consulting departments. According to the company’s information, AWC Events is “delighted to have been able to arrange for Harry Potter the Exhibition to come to Germany and our aim is to continue working with similar types of brands to create entertaining and engaging exhibitions for museums, science centres and other attraction industry venues.” Harry Potter: The Exhibition is scheduled to be shown in Cologne until February 2015.
