Bad Mergentheim/Germany: Trial Operation Phase Started

Following a two-year- shutdown period for renovation and modernization purposes, the Solymar Therme (formerly: Solymar) thermal spa and bathing complex in Bad Mergentheim, Germany started its trial operation phase at the end of this past August. Guests, who are curious to enjoy the new concept and offer of the facility, receive a 25 percent discount on their visit due to the test operation phase until 2ndOctober. Two years ago, the local council of Bad Mergentheim terminated the cooperation with the former general contractor and the original operator, the g1 Bädergruppe, who filed for bankruptcy back then. Now, Andreas Schauer from the project development and management company Schauer & Co. GmbH, who is responsible for the operation of several bathing and spa facilities in Switzerland and Germany, is the new Operations Manager of Solymar Therme. More about the “new” Solymar and its offer can be read in one of our next magazine issues. (eap)
