EXPO Shanghai / China: Top Award Goes to German Pavilion

What visitors and delegations repeatedly emphasized has now officially been confirmed: The first prize in the theme development category goes to “balancity”. More than four million visitors came to the German Pavilion during the 184 days of the EXPO and those were not the only ones who were delighted by it. An international commission made up of experts was convinced by the concept, too. The German concept was designed by Stuttgart-based agency Milla und Partner, the architecture was the work of Schmidhuber + Kaindl. The pavilion was organized and run by Koelnmesse International GmbH. – Silver went to Russia and bronze to France. (eap)
