Germany: Center Parcs Announces Official Opening Date for Park Allgäu

The sixth and the largest vacation park of Center Parcs Europe in Germany up to date, Center Parcs Park Allgäu, will officially open for guests on October 1st this year (read also our comprehensive article in EAP, 1/18). With a total of 1,000 holiday homes of different categories and a versatile leisure offer the new vacation destination in the German Allgäu region is aimed at families with kids of all ages as well as active holidaymakers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

“With Park Allgäu we introduce our Center Parcs concept to one of Germany’s most popular holiday regions. Thanks to the support of local companies, construction works are going well and we are pleased that we can announce 1st October 2018 as the official opening date for the new vacation destination,” commented Frank Daemen, Managing Director of Center Parcs Germany. He added, “Park Allgäu is our first location in Southern Germany and it marks the beginning of our further park roll-out, which foresees up to five new vacation parks to be developed in Germany within the next ten years.”
