Germany: Taunus Wunderland Announces New Theme Area with Two New Attractions for this Season

Germany’s Taunus Wunderland family theme park, which is located in the federal state of Hesse and starts into the new season tomorrow, will again add a new theme area to its existing visitor offer this year – only in 2018, the park had opened “Grandpa Alfred’s Dino Valley” with a number of new attractions and activities as big novelty (cf. EAP News from April 10th, 2018).

“Auntie Rosi’s Candy Cotton Land” is set to launch in due time for this year’s summer holidays, inviting park visitors to the colorful, nostalgic world of funfairs. Two new attractions, which already open tomorrow, will form part of the new theme area: “Auntie Rosi’s Dalmatian Carousel” (a “Bounce Spin”) and “Auntie Rosi’s Fortune Teller Wagon” (a “Flying Bus” – both supplied by SBF-Visa). In addition, the park’s existing simulator attraction located in the entrance area has been renovated and now features state-of-the-art technology and a new façade design in the style of a knight’s castle.

The park, which is owned by the Barth family, invested a six-digit sum in this year’s novelties. (eap)
