Germany: “50 Years of Africa“ – Safariland Stukenbrock Zoo & Theme Park Kicks Off Anniversary Season Today

With a new name, website design and branding, Germany’s Safariland Stukenbrock zoo & theme park (formerly known as Zoo Safaripark Stukenbrock) in North Rhine-Westphalia today kicks off its anniversary season, celebrating 50 years since the park was founded in 1969. As “birthday present”, the park will open its new “Adventure Resort” with mobile homes and tents as its first overnight accommodation for guests, in addition to the new “Lemurs’ World” 1,000-square meter indoor playground as big novelty for families – both new visitor offers will launch this summer.

Established by the Wurms owner family, Safariland Stukenbrock combines rides and attractions with extensive safari grounds, where visitors can observe around 600 animals from either their own car or the park’s safari bus. A new species at the park, lemurs recently found a new home at Safariland.
