India/Germany: New Magic Mountain Park in Lonavala with Major Attractions

Magic Mountain Park is a completely new leisure park, which opened its doors this past April in Lonavala, in the Indish federal state of Maharashtra. On a total area of over twelve hectares (30 acres) the new leisure destination, which is owned and operated by the India’s Malpani Group, features a versatile visitor offer aimed at a target group aged between 15 and 45 years.

High-thrill attractions of the park include two rides supplied by Germany’s Huss company: a Top Spin Suspended and a Giant Frisbee 40. The Top Spin Suspended is one of the company’s best-selling rides – in the Indian park, it accommodates up to 38 riders to swirl them around through the air. The Giant Frisbee has a capacity of 40 passengers, the maximum “flight height”of the pendulum arm is 43 meters. To reach this height, the gondola swings up to 120 degrees from the ride’s vertical axis, reaching speeds of up to 110 km/h and forces over 4.5g. (eap)
