Belgium: New Slide Tower in LAGO Kortrijk Weide Enthuses Bathing Guests

A disastrous fire burned up the slide tower (consisting of five slides from Switzerland‘s Klarer Freizeitanlagen) at the new LAGO Kortrijk Weide indoor waterpark in February 2019, just a few days before the scheduled opening of the new waterworld (cf. EAP 3/2019). After only eight months of reconstruction, the slide tower is now open to guests after its inauguration at the end of October. The indoor water park now provides a big selection of water slides for slide enthusiasts: “Witte Tornado“, a Magic Twice slide with a trap door start, the “Zwarte Storm“ turbo slide, the “Blauwe Twister“ Abyss bowl slide, “Rode Tyfoon“, a tube slide with illusion effects in form of fake elements, and the “Groene Orkaan“ rafting slide. In addition to the water slides, the pool’s adventure area also offers a whitewater river, dubbed “Wildwaterbahn“. (eap)
