ThyssenKrupp IdeenPark Awarded

Around half a year after the 2008 IdeenPark (literally: idea park) ended in Stuttgart with a visitor record (290,000 guests), ThyssenKrupp can raise the glass to another success of the temporary technical adventure show: within the scope of the “Gute Gestaltung 09” (good design) competition, the project won an award in the “network” category from the Deutscher Designer Club (DDC) in early December. The scenography and exhibition design of the IdeenPark were designed and implemented by the Stuttgart-based agency Milla & Partner. With 40,000 square metres of presentation and demonstration space, IdeenPark was Germany’s largest technical adventure show. Milla & Partner were not only responsible for the scenography and exhibition design, but also coordinated all of the procedures and activities behind the scenes of the show. You can read more about travelling exhibitions in general and a very special German concept in our next print edition of EAP. (eap)
