Germany: Allgäu Skyline Park Reaches New Heights With Opening of “Allgäuflieger“

The Bavaria-based family leisure destination Allgäu Skyline Park opens its new “Allgäuflieger“ flying carousel today. Supplied by Austrian manufacturer Funtime, the 400 ton heavy construction will transport visitors to airy heights. Sitting in their gondolas, the 24 riders (max. capacity) will spin 100 meters above the ground during the four minute long ride experience, enjoying a panoramic view over the park grounds and the surrounding areas. Visitors are allowed to experience the attraction as of the age of six (accompanied by an adult until a body height of 120 cm).

The construction of the “worlds highest flying carousel“ took 23 weeks, according to the operators. (eap)
