World’s First Women’s Only Waterpark Opened in Saudi Arabia

Since its opening earlier this month, the world’s first water park for ladies only has been welcoming guests. Situated in Dana Bay on the shores of Half Moon Beach and developed by Jenan Real Estate, Loopagoon Waterpark offers a mix of waterslides and attractions as well as shopping and food options. On its over 15,000 square meter large premises the water park features eleven different water attractions, among which are ten rides from Canadian supplier ProSlide. This includes a TWISTER, PIPEline, CannonBOWL 40 and OctopusRACER as well as a custom version of the iconic TORNADO 45, specially designed with translucent glass and a capped roof to meet the privacy needs of the guests.

In addition to this, the park also offers a water play structure for kids and a FlowRider attraction. Also the park is using Gateway Ticketing System’s “Galaxy” product suite (sold by its Middle East partner Prologic First Dubai) to provide guests with a comfortable ticketing and guest experience. Entry for boys is only allowed when under 120cm in height or not older than seven years. (eap)
