USA: “The FRIENDS Experience“ Makes Temporary Stop in Chicago

After New York City and Boston, the fan experience world dedicated to the popular US sitcom of  ”FRIENDSTM” (first broadcast in 1994) now makes a temporary stop in Chicago, in the The Shops at North Bridge retail complex. Through January 3rd, 2021, visitors to the themed interactive exhibition will be able to explore twelve nostalgia-packed rooms and activations plus several all-new experiences including Monica’s kitchen and balcony and the iconic FRIENDS fountain from the series’ intro. The space provides opportunities to explore the show’s history and to re-create favorite moments including peaking around Rachel and Monica’s purple door or relaxing in Chandler and Joey’s recliner.

“We hope ‘The FRIENDS Experience’ will bring a bit of joy to Chicagoans in these difficult times. Our team has worked diligently to ensure that the experience provides fans of the show with a fun yet safe environment while visiting,” comments Jonathan Mayers, Founder & CEO of Superfly X, the New York-based company specialized in experience design. In cooperation with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Warner Bros. Television Group, Cincinnati-based JRA company and Chicago Scenic Studios, the FRIENDS experience was created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series. (eap)
