Germany: Red Dot Museum in Essen Presents Products & Works from Award Winners in Decentralized Exhibition

The Judith Beck Winery received a “Red Dot: Best of the Best Award“ for these wine bottles. The illustrations show a barcode integrated into the sketch, which in turn leads to an audio file that tells the story of the wine.

With the exhibition “Winners Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2020“, the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany, is presenting a decentralized exhibition from today on until January 3rd, 2021. The show exhibits are products which have been awarded with a “Red Dot Design Award” in the category of “Brands & Communication Design”. The pieces come from 30 countries and are presented at several points throughout the museum.

In the previous years, the award winners were honored in a festive ceremony – this year, they received a digital tribute in the form of a presentation on the Red Dot Design Awards’ Instagram channel. All other winners from the categories of “Product Design“ and “Design Concept“ can be found here in the form of a virtual exhibition. (eap)
