UAE: New Leisure & Sports Facilities on Hudayriat Island (Abu Dhabi) Now Open

On Hudayriat Island, which is located directly on the coast of Abu Dhabi, a range of new leisure and sports facilities were opened recently. The “321 Sports“ area offers numerous possibilities for sportive activities. It features a jogging track, an indoor fitness facility and a soccer field as well as tennis, basketball and badminton courts. Additionally, in the “Circuit X“ outdoor zone visitors can find a BMX track, a water park, a high ropes course, a skate park and and a zip line installation.

The “Marsana“ water front provides visitors with a water park for children, a playground and outdoor fitness opportunities. The yacht harbour is directly connected to this area. Visitors are invited to enjoy a 24,000 square metre-large beach with a 600 metre-long bathing area free of charge. While walking along the “Hudayriat Heritage Trail“, visitors can learn more about the nature and the history of the region such as the tradition of pearl diving in the UAE through information boards.

The accommodation facility “Bab Al Nojoum“ offers guests a sleep over at the beach. Visitors can book standard tents for two to six persons as well as luxury tents which include a private pool and a mobile home. An open air cinema is part of the entertainment offering.
