Germany: Hologate World – 1,200 Square Metres of Immersive Entertainment

The Munich-based company Hologate, which is specialised in VR experiences, has announced the development of a new, 1,200 square-meter-large location-based attraction: “Hologate World“ is set to become “the largest extended reality and entertainment destination in Germany”, according to the company. The planned new LBE attraction will be part of the new FLAIR shopping centre in Fürth (Bavaria) which is planned by P&P Group and scheduled to open in September this year. In addition to the available Hologate VR systems, Hologate World will offer additional experiences such as VR escape rooms and an eSports arena.

“We are very excited to be partnering with P&P Group on this game-changing project. With the introduction and inclusion of fresh, never-before-seen, immersive entertainment options, alongside our iconic Arena and Blitz systems, and all within a large, socially-focused, fun-for-everyone space, Hologate World presents the next level of immersive location-based entertainment for Hologate and the industry as a whole,“ comments Leif Petersen, Hologate CEO and founder.

Michael Peter, CEO and owner of P&P Group, explains: “[...] In addition to an excellent mix of tenants and innovative gastronomy concepts, we were looking for the ultimate entertainment highlight for this vibrant lifestyle location in the heart of the city. With Hologate World, we have found it and can thus offer a new, incomparable attraction that is globally one of a kind.“ The Fürth location will be the flagship destination and blueprint to other franchise locations.
