France: Cinémovida Equipped with New MX4D Technology

As the MediaMation company recently announced, the US manufacturer was able to continue its international expansion in Europe lately (cf. EAP news of 17 Oct 2019) by adding a new MX4D Motion EFX theater to one of the Cinémovida cinemas located in Perpignan in the south of France. Accordingly, a 60-seat auditorium has been added to the cinema, where special effects such as wind, rain, scent, back poker and motion will enhance the movie experience in the future.

“Even if the pandemic crisis makes us suffer, our goal remains the same: to continue expanding and to be at the top of technology. Our investment in MX4D fulfills one of these goals!” says Stephan Miché, Secretary General of Cinémovida. Like many other leisure facilities, the operator’s cinemas still have to remain closed due to the pandemic. However, the new investment means that the company is well equipped for the future. (eap)
