Germany: “The Smurf Experience” Reopens Today

As of today, fans of “The Smurfs” are again able to experience the interactive “The Smurf Experience” exhibition located in the EXPOHALLE at the CentrO shopping complex in Oberhausen. The updated Corona protection measures effective since March 29 in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the general decree of the city of Oberhausen allow for the reopening of museums. Visitors must present a negative Covid-19 quick test not older than 24 hours. A test is possible on-site in the CentrO parking lot or in the König-Pilsener event area, but may of course have been carried out elsewhere. In addition, there is the obligation to wear a medical mask in the building as well as the common social distancing and hygiene rules.

To visit the exhibition, prior online booking of a time slot ticket is required. During the journey of discovery through the world of the Smurfs, interactive game and task stations peppered with innovative technologies such as Augmented and Virtual Reality, video mapping and holograms await the guests (cf. EAP News of 19 Dec 2019). The Smurf Exhibition will stay at EXPOHALLE in Oberhausen until August 29, 2021. (eap)
