GB: Long Running Ice Show Returns to BPB for Summer 2021 as Euphoria

Since 1936, the “Hot Ice Show”, then “Ice Parades”, has been a central part of the entertainment offering at Blackpool Pleasure Beach (BPB). The ice show, which is held at the “Pleasure Beach Arena” (formerly “Ice Drome”), is one of the longest-running ice shows in the world, according to its own statement. Numerous national, world and Olympic champion ice skaters have performed in it since the show’s inception. Normally running from July through September, it has been produced and directed by Amanda Thompson OBE, Managing Director of BPB, for more than 20 years.

After the show had to take a break last year due to the pandemic, it returns this summer with the name addition of “Euphoria”. Guests will be able to experience it again from 8 July to 11 September 2021. Brilliant costumes, a modern light show on the ice and, of course, the world’s best ice skaters will once again delight and excite spectators with their performances. Tickets can already be booked, early-bird discounts are available. (eap)
