Reinforcement for IAAPA Europe

The European team of the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) was recently reinforced with a new team member. Nico Reynders (pictured) joined IAAPA Europe at the start of this past October as Junior Program Manager. In this position, Reynders is responsible for recruiting new members in Europe, for the IAAPA member services in this region and for all of the online marketing matters at the association’s European branch. Reynders was most recently employed for six years as the Assistant Front Office Manager at the Hotel Mercure Leuven Center, a hotel in Belgium belonging to the Accor hotel chain.

A tender has been issued for the position of Senior Manager, European Operations at the IAAPA Europe office in Brussels. Jakob Wahl, who had successfully held this position for more than four years, left the office in Brussels in October 2013 to accept new challenges as consultant of the management at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany.
