Günzburg / Germany: Legoland Deutschland Resort with New CEO

After having worked more than five and a half years at Legoland Deutschland Resort Hans Aksel Pedersen symbolically passed on the general key for the park and holiday village built from LEGO bricks to the new CEO of the Legoland Resort in Günzburg, Germany. His successor will be 46-year-old Martin Kring from Denmark with effect from August 1st. Kring started his career 25 years ago at the Lego Group in Billund, Denmark. Since then he has held positions of responsibility in different Legoland Parks in Europe. In the autumn of 2013, Kring took over the management of Legoland Malaysia.

Hans Aksel Pedersen remains with the Merlin Group, which is operating all of the Lego Parks worldwide. Pedersen will take up the newly created position as Divisions Director North America at Legoland Florida in Winter Haven, where he will be responsible for the two existing parks in the US and the structural preparation of a third park in the country.
