USA: Universal Orlando Resort to Build Brand New „Volcano Bay“ Waterpark

Over the last few months, there have been rumors about Universal planning to build a new theme water park in Orlando. Now it’s official: At the end of May, Universal Orlando Resort announced to bring to life an entirely new water theme park experience in 2017. Dubbed “Volcano Bay”, the new waterpark will become the resort’s third immersive park. It will be located within Universal Orlando Resort, just south of the Cabana Bay Beach Resort. The highly themed waterpark will cater to the entire family and offer “radically innovative, thrilling attractions as well as peaceful moments of relaxation”.
