The Netherlands: Toverland Reveals First Details on New Theme Area

In 2018, Dutch Toverland leisure park will open a new theme area close to its “Magische Vallei” section, which will feature a Wing Coaster from Swiss supplier Bolliger & Mabillard (c.f. EAP news from March 31st, 2017). During the ride, guests will rush through several loopings. Paul Oomen, Technical Director at Toverland, is looking forward to the new coaster: “It will be the first Wing Coaster in the Benelux countries!” Guests will enjoy an “unforgettable feeling of freedom,” promised Oomen.

Furthermore, the park’s fifth theme area will invite guests to a “magical boat tour” – a large new water attraction from Mack Rides appealing to the whole family. Also, Toverland has plans to replace and extend its entrance area, which will host new restaurants, shops and an open air podium in the future. The planned construction measures will occupy a total area of seven hectares, representing the largest expansion in the park’s history. (eap)
