Canada: Dynamic Attractions Announces Executive Appointments

In an official statement Empire Industries confirmed that Hao Wang has been appointed new President and Chief Operating Officer for its wholly owned subsidiary Dynamic Attractions, which is specialized in the themed attractions industry. Over the past 21 years, Hao Wang held responsible leadership positions at Multimatic Inc., a global automobile design, engineering and manufacturing company headquartered in Ontario. For the past five years, he was Vice President of Asia Pacific, where he led the creation of Multimac’s production operations in China and presence in South Korea, India and the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region.

Also, the company announced that George Walker has been appointed Dynamic Attractions’ new Senior Vice President of Creative Services to lead the creative, value-added contributions of converting the ride systems into attractions. He joined the company in 2015 as first Creative Development Director, before he was working for companies such as Universal Studios and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

Furthermore, Dr. Ye Zhou was named new Chief Technical Officer of Dynamic Attractions, his colleague Paul Poirier will take over the position as Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Service. Brian Peebles has been appointed to Senior Vice President, Co-Ventures, Empire Industries.

“Our themed attractions business has shown tremendous growth, and we needed to enhance our leadership team to continue to capitalize on the market opportunities and to deliver on the key success factors needed to address this growing market. Moreover, our Dynamic Structures business unit is also facing tremendous opportunities in its business globally […],” said Guy Nelson, CEO of Empire Industries and Dynamic Attractions.

The executive changes are effective immediately with the exception of Hao Wang, who will officially join the company after the transition from Multimatic Inc., subject to the approval of the Canadian TSX Venture Exchange.

Yesterday, Guy Nelson also announced that Dynamic Attractions will open a new, 50,000 square feet assembly facility in Vancouver next month, which will be located next to its Ride Development Center. The company has operations in Vancouver, Orlando, Dallas, Toronto and Shanghai. (eap)
