(eap) Tivoli Friheden is an amusement park near the center of the Danish city of Aarhus on the east coast of Jutland. Next summer, “Vindfald”, a new Euro-Fighter from Gerstlauer Amusement Rides, will open here. The new attraction will be the fourth roller coaster in operation at the park and will thrill visitors with its action-packed ride elements, including a more than 90-degree drop, a loop, corkscrew curves, camelbacks and other elements.

“Almost from the first second, your heart beats up to your neck. And it stays that way for the rest of the ride. There are simply no boring sections on this roller coaster”, says Tivoli Friheden managing director Henrik Ragborg Olesen, describing the future attraction with a smile on his lips.

Among the other technical details: the ride, with a track length of 300 meters, will be equipped with a 23-meter-high vertical lift that will allow guests to reach a top speed of up to 72 km/h when descending. There will be two cars, each with eight seats in two rows, in which passengers are secured with shoulder restraints. The train will be able to accommodate about 360 guests per hour. To ride, guests must be at least 125 cm tall. Between 35 and 40 million Danish kroner (approx. five million euros) will be invested in the new thrill ride. ■
