Austria: Green Electricity and E-Bike Charging Station at Familypark Neusiedlersee

Environment protection and sustainability play an increasingly important role in theme and attractions parks. Also Austria’s Familypark Neusiedlersee supports green technologies and uses 100 percent green energy from Austria. Just recently, park owner Mario Müller (ri.) was awarded the green electricity certificate by the energy service provider Energie Burgenland. Some weeks ago, even a new electric bike charging station with six power sockets was opened for the guests of the park. In addition to the charging station for e-bikes, the park plans to open up a service station for electric cars in 2015. (eap)
