China: IAAPA Expo Asia 2021 Cancelled
The International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA) has just announced the cancellation of IAAPA Expo Asia 2021, which was due to take place next week from 10th-13th August at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The association is asking companies that would have been exhibitors during the trade show to contact the IAAPA Sales Team for more information, and registered visitors to the show to contact the IAAPA Convention Team.
The number of people infected with Covid-19 had recently risen significantly in China, and the country had imposed new travel restrictions a few days ago, also for domestic travel, which include a quarantine obligation lasting several days. (eap)
