Europe/USA: Registration Is Open – Trade Shows in London & Orlando Coming in Sight

While a large part of Europe is suffering under the extreme summer heat these days, fall is moving ever closer into view, at least for amusement and leisure industry professionals: In eight weeks (from Sept. 13 to 15), the industry will come together for IAAPA Expo Europe (IEE) at the ExCeL exhibition center in London. This means that the English capital – which was supposed to be the venue for the three-day trade fair event organized by the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA) already in 2020 – will again be the meeting place for theme park owners & operators, leisure facility specialists and managers, manufacturers and suppliers to the industry for the first time in eleven years. By the end of May this year, 470 companies had already registered as exhibitors – more than had taken part in last year’s IEE in Barcelona, which was noticeably marked by caution due to the pandemic, despite the general mood of optimism and the appeal of the Catalan metropolis. Now, those wishing to take advantage of the opportunity to see new product developments and network face-to-face with suppliers, customers and colleagues in London this year, can register on the IAAPA event website as of now. As usual, the Opening Reception will take place on the evening of the first day of the show – this year’s location is the Museum of London Docklands.

From November 15-18, 2022, the main IAAPA show will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, with nearly 1,000 exhibitors and about 25,000 expected attendees. Registration is already open for this trade show event as well. For the Leadership Breakfast on Wednesday morning (Nov. 16), the association was able to win Tom Mehrmann, President & COO of Universal Parks and Resorts Pacific Rim, as speaker for this year. In addition, a number of EDUTours, education sessions and networking meetings will again be held. We look forward to meeting you in person at both trade shows this fall! (eap)
