Frankfurt/Germany: Stork Group to Invest in the Construction of a New Thermal Spa Hotel

Paderborn, Germany’s Stork Group will invest a total of 14 million Euros in the construction of a new thermal spa hotel for its location in Hofheim near Frankfurt am Main. The 4-star business and lifestyle hotel is modeled on the Vital-Hotel in Bad Lippspringe, Germany, which is also part of the Stork Group just as the Westfalen-Therme. Guests of the new hotel will have direct access to the Rhein-Main-Therme. The owner-run hotel is scheduled to open in summer 2015 and will offer its guests 96 rooms, four suites and two meeting rooms. Highlight of the new building will be a rotating sky lounge bar with views over Frankfurt City and the Taunus. The new Vital Hotel will be the third wellness hotel run by the Stork Group in Germany. In addition to the Westfalen-Therme and the Rhein-Main-Therme, the Stork Group also operates the Ostsee-Therme in Scharbeutz, Germany and the Sachsen-Therme in Leipzig, Germany. (eap)
