Germany: "Splash!" – Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Elstal Starts into the Bathing Season

Tomorrow, Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Elstal, which is located close to Berlin, starts with its “Splash!” (G.: “Plansch!”) outdoor swimming offer into the second season. Guests to Karls can already look forward to the 18 meter high, inflatable water slide (from Spanish company Pro-Fab) and two splash pools with a depth of 30 centimeters, also appropriate for non-swimmers. Sun loungers made from wooden pallets are a great place to relax, sunshades in a strawberry design, fine sand from the Baltic Sea and changing rooms in the form of snail shells create summer feeling. In one of the two splash pools, kids can take a ride on mini pedal boats.

“[…] With the some 250 square meter large ‘Splash!’ area, we bring Baltic Sea vacation flair near to Berlin,” said Robert Dahl, CEO of Karls Erlebnis-Dörfer. Visitors can enjoy this extra offer until September 3rd this year. In 2019, Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Elstal will see comprehensive expansion measures including the construction of a “strawberry theme land”, as announced by Robert Dahl during a press conference earlier this year (c.f. EAP news from February 17th, 2017). (eap)
