Germany: Jaderpark Invests 2.3 Million Euros in New Adventure Attraction

“Grizzly Mountain Adventure” will be the name of the new adventure attraction that is currently under construction at Germany’s Tier- und Freizeitpark Jaderberg (Lower-Saxony). A soft-opening of the new attraction, which is being built on a 6,400 square meter large expansion area next to the park’s “Rocky Rafting” attraction, is planned for the Whitsun weekend in late June. The area will be converted into an impressive mountain landscape including a canyon to support the Klondike Gold Rush theming. The centerpiece of the new attraction will be a 16 meter tall mine tower and an accessible mine. A 140-meter-obstacle course with two levels of difficulty invites visitors to a climbing tour. A sawmill captured to the smallest detail, Indian huts and hunting lodges, a windmill, a water playground, a suspension bridge and much more will be there to discover. In order to make the new area as authentic as possible, trees from the Canadian region worth 45,000 Euros were already acquired by the park. (eap)
