Germany: Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen Presents New “Hatari Towers” Attraction

With the “Hatari Towers”, a new attraction concept is moving into Lower Saxony’s Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen, which starts into the new season on 2 April. The “adventure skyscraper”, a 30-meter-high fun house attraction, consists of two towers with eight floors each – for this purpose, containers are stacked on top of each other – and offers ten different themed rooms, which are equipped with interactive installations as well as light and sound effects. After entering, guests have to prove their dexterity and make their way up and down the tower through the various courses and rooms. In true Serengeti-Park fashion, the adventure skyscraper (type: event tower), which the park acquired from C. Blume Vergnügungsbetriebe GmbH, will be themed in a safari design.

On one of the tower’s four external platforms, visitors board Segways that travel across the floor via a fixed rail system. Integrated into the original fairground attraction “Hatari Towers”, which will be permanently located in the park in the future, is also a sky bar from which guests can enjoy the view over the park area while having a drink. The bar can also be reached by mobility-impaired guests via an elevator. At the highest point of one of the two towers, visitors can also expect a rollover gondola. As an additional temporary attraction, Serengeti-Park is getting another action-packed ride this season in the form of the “Jungle Pendulum”. (eap)
