Netherlands: Avonturenpark Hellendoorn Plans New Roller Coaster Experience for 2022

Avonturenpark Hellendoorn, which is operated by the French Looping Group, recently announced that visitors can look forward to the fourth roller coaster of the park scheduled to open in the 2022 season. An area of 1,500 square metres has been prepared on the park grounds for the construction of the ride. The new attraction is a second-hand spinning coaster by Reverchon, which been making ist rounds previously in Mexico. Visitors will spin around in the coaster’s wagons over a track length of 420 metres.

René Peul, International Director Marketing & Sales of Avonturenpark, comments: “We are very proud to add a spinning coaster to our roller coaster line-up. This has been on our wish list for years. We have completely revamped it and the coaster will be better than new. This coaster is not just another attraction. It will be the final chapter of a unique trilogy [...].“ This trilogy consists of the dragon-themed attractions "Drakennest" (Disk'O Coaster), the roller coaster "Balagos - Flying Flame" (until 2020 "Tornado" / Vekoma/Sunkid) and the planned new coaster to round off the storyline. The new ride experience will be located in the park between Balagos and the white water ride “Sungai Kalimantan“. (eap)
