Netherlands: Keukenhof Closes Season with Positive Results
The Keukenhof, the flower park located in the west of the Netherlands, which presents a colorful variety of blossoms on its park grounds from March to May annually, closes its first season after a two-year forced closure due to the Corona pandemic with a positive result. From March 24 to May 15, more than 1.1 million guests have visited Keukenhof – most of them came from the Netherlands, but also from Germany, the USA, France and Great Britain amongst others. This year, the theme of the flower show was “Flower Classics“. Fittingly, there was a collaboration with the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague, which is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year and presenting the special exhibition “In Full Bloom“ (until June 6) in this context.
In 2023, Keukenhof will be open from March 23 to May 14. (eap)
