(eap) Since last weekend, visitors to the Holiday World amusement park in Santa Claus, Indiana have been able to experience fresh ride fun: The “Good Gravy!” family boomerang coaster with custom layout by manufacturer Vekoma officially opened to visitors. The train, which consists of ten cars with two seats each, travels along the 220-metre-long track first backwards, then forwards and finally backwards again, covering a total distance of almost 450 meters.

The highest point of the track is 23.5 meters and the maximum speed of the train is given as 60 km/h. The new family roller coaster, which complements the existing coaster portfolio of three “Woodies”, a Wing Coaster and another Family Coaster, therefore fits in perfectly with the wide range of visitor attractions. A ride on “Good Gravy!”, which thematically revolves around the rescue of the festive Thanksgiving dinner, is open to visitors who are at least one meter tall (accompanied by an adult), and unaccompanied from 1.2 meters. ■
