UAE: Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi Presents First Signature Rides

For its “Metropolis“ and “Cartoon Junction“ theme lands – two out of six – the all-new indoor theme park Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, currently under construction on Yas Island (cf. EAP news f. 27 April 2017) with an opening scheduled for this summer, has just revealed the first signature rides yesterday. In Metropolis, the home of “Superman“, guests will encounter the Steel of Man and other DC heroes like “Wonder Woman“ or “Green Lantern“. With “Superman 360: Battle for Metropolis“ visitors will experience a pulse-pounding attraction that features the hero in a riveting battle of good versus evil – no further details on the type of attraction were revealed so far. When entering the legendary Hall of Justice, people can hop onboard “Justice League: Warworld Attacks“, a thrilling dark ride with immersive media and special effects. Guests will also find “Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey“, an awe-inspiring 4D flying theatre experience as well as “Teen Titans Training Academy“, a multi-level play area featuring a zipline amongst others.

The Cartoon Junction area will host a total of nine family-friendly rides and attractions, including “Tom and Jerry Swiss Cheese Spin“, a spinning coaster,“Scooby-Doo The Museum of Mysteries“, a trackless haunted dark ride, the interactive dark ride “Ani-Mayhem“, the walkthrough experience “Meet Bugs! (and Daffy“ as well as “Cartoon Junction Carousel“, a classic carousel. Furthermore, “ACME Factory“, an area with three kid-friendly rides of its own, will include “Daffy’s Jet-Propelled Pogo Stick“, a vertical jump tower, the spinning fun ride “Tweety Wild Wockets“, and “Ricochet Racin‘ with Taz“, a car ride on a track.

A corresponding range of food offers and souvenir shops will complement both theme lands. (eap)
