USA: Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park Announces New Euro-Fighter Coaster “Defiance” for Summer 2022

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, located on a mountain above Glenwood Springs in Colorado, has announced the construction of a new roller coaster that is scheduled to open in summer 2022. The planned new ride is a Euro-Fighter Custom from German manufacturer Gerstlauer Amusement Rides, which is represented on the American market by Ride Entertainment.

“Defiance” – the name of the new coaster – will feature eight-passenger trains (with two four-passenger rows of seats each). The planned track elements include a vertical lift, a 33.5-meter drop and two inversions (a banana roll and an in-line twist) to provide thrills for riders. The trains are to rush along the tracks at a maximum speed of over 90 km/h. Installation work on site is scheduled to start in spring 2022.

With this novelty, the park aims at making its visitor offer even more versatile – currently there are already several thrill rides, but also family attractions for guests to experience. (eap)
